You will also come across the largest Himalayan glacier, the Ngozumpa as you progress through the road. The path through this trail is very close to that of the Everest base camp, but sections at Namche Bazar going to the Gokyo Lakes on the west side of the Dudh Koshi valley leading to the Gokyo Ri peak. You can also spend some relaxing time on the turquoise glacial on the trek to EBC through the Gokyo trail, which will inspire you to walk through the path that leads up to the Gokyo Ri and then to the base camp.
