1Day

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,470 m).

Our trek starts with a drive for roughly about 9 hours from Kathmandu alongside north-western hills towards Syabrubesi, enjoying the Himalayan views and mountainous lifestyle through the terraced fields and rustic villages. You will witness the beautiful scenery of white snowcapped mountains like Mt. Annapurna II, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, and other minor peaks along the route and as well as green scenery of hillock, rivers, and village. We descend to Syabrubesi, which will be our stop for the night.

2Day

Syabrubesi (1,470 m) to River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m).

For the first day of the trek, we start trailing across the Bhote Koshi river following the Lantang Khola and down from Tibet. As we follow the stone-paved streets out of the town over the Langtang Khola, we cross a suspension bridge that tails gradually ascends to Bamboo. We then pass through a landslide and forests of oak and rhododendron. As we pass this natural blessed site, we ascend towards River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m) to call it a day.

3Day

River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m) to Langtang Valley (3,870 m).

We start off today with a gentle climb that soon gets steeper as we enter a wild forest of hemlocks, oaks, maples, and rhododendrons. The unresisting views of the snow-capped peaks lead the trail to a log bridge that further climbs across lush meadows and gradually opening up to u-shaped glacial. The trail then crosses a stream and several water-driven mills entering a large settlement of Langtang. We stop by at the headquarter of the Lantang National Park.

4Day

River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m) to Langtang Valley (3,870 m).

Today we trek to the highest point of the trek at 12,697 m. we start by climbing an impressive mani wall that crosses a stream to a small village of Mundu. We then trail pass several small streams through wooden bridges to finally reach our destination for the day, the Kyanjin. The surrounding at Kyanjin is very attractive because of the cheese factories that are operated by the Government. We have a chance to test cheese and curd by Yak milk; it is remarkable in this place. We also can explore the area with the panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7246m), Genjempol, Kyangjin RI (4750m.), Tsergo RI (5000m.), Ganja la (5160m.), Langshisa- Ri (6427m.), Dorje Lhakpa (6430m.), Naya Kang (5844m.), Yala peak (5500m).

5Day

Kyanjin (12,697 m) to River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m).

We head back to where we started the trek from. We descent back to River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m) by walking for roughly 6 hours. It may be disheartening to head back but the fantastic views of the towering mountains that you have missed on your way up can be a motivating factor to head down.

6Day

River Side Hotel (2,770 m) or Lama Hotel (1,480 m) to Syabrubesi (1,470 m).

Today we hike back downhill to Syabrubesi through lush green vegetation. As we walk along, we may experience to learn about the customs and culture of the Tamang community residing in the area. Syabrubesi will be our stop for the night.
